Ting Infrastructure Tax Passthrough
What is the fee?
From Jan 1, 2025, there is a new line item on your Ting bill: the Infrastructure Tax Passthrough. This charge helps us recover government-mandated taxes and fees that the company pays–like local property taxes and regulatory costs–that go into keeping your internet up and running.
What you’ll see on your bill
Starting Jan 1, 2025, you’ll see a line on your bill labeled Infrastructure Tax Passthrough.
If you're part of the Ting Affordability Program or the Affordable Connectivity Program, you won’t be charged this fee.
Will the amount change?
The fee is reviewed every year. If it turns out we’re collecting too much or not enough, we'll adjust to match the companies actual tax obligations.
