If you have multiple pages of records, use the arrows/page numbers at the bottom of the section to navigate.

If you know the specific time period you'd like to view a bill for, you can also filter by the date.

1. Click the arrow in the Date column. A date search box will appear.
2. Enter the date you wish to view billing for and then click Search.
   

Emailing a Bill Copy

If you'd like a copy of a bill for your records, click the Email me a copy option to the right of the specific bill.

A checkmark with the message "Bill sent to your email" will appear near the top of the page to let you know the bill was successfully sent. A PDF copy of the bill will go to the email associated with your Ting Internet account.

This PDF will look similar to the above with any relevant itemizations, including promotional credits and taxes (if applicable.)

If you do not see the email in your inbox, be sure to check your Spam and any email filters for a message from help@ting.com.

Both invoices and credits will appear as separate "Monthly bill's" in your transaction history, though you can see the amount owed or credit applied under the Amount column.

Bill details

Under Bill details, you should see a line item for your internet plan. Under the Item description, you should see the date range for your bill and the name of your plan. i.e., "5/21/2024 to 6/21/2024 -- Home Gigabit"

What fees or taxes will I have to pay with Ting?

We are obligated to collect various taxes and regulatory fees on behalf of federal, state, and local governments. It varies depending on where you live, and it can change from time to time. When you receive your bill, you'll get an itemized account of these fees and taxes—mouse over anything in that itemized list for an explanation of that tax or fee. We don't add any "recovery fees" or hide anything that isn't truly required in this charge.

Most states do not levy taxes on Internet services. You are unlikely to see any taxes on your bill (apart from a few cents on your installation) unless you also have mobile service with us.

What is this franchise fee on my bill? (only in Alexandria, VA)

Franchise fees are paid to local governments to compensate for the use of public rights-of-way and easements. With the Federal Cable Act, cable operators like Ting are able to collect the full amount of franchise fees from customers.

The franchise fee is 3% of the monthly internet service amount. Router rentals or additional services do not add to this fee.

Example:

• You've placed an order for Ting's Home Gigabit fiber service at $89/month.
• 3% ($2.67) is added to the $89 fee.
• Your total monthly fee will be $91.67/month plus tax

I thought Ting doesn't have any hidden fees.

That's right! We've changed our website order process for Alexandria customers to highlight this fee in bright blue with an explanation of why this fee exists.

What is the Infrastructure Tax Passthrough tax?

The Infrastructure Tax Passthrough is a monthly charge required to recover taxes mandated by the federal, state, and local governments. These are government-mandated fees. They cover essential costs, such as property taxes and regulatory expenses, associated with delivering internet service to your communities. Ting complies with these rules to obey local laws while continuing to deliver the reliable service you trust.

To see your billing history, first log in to your Ting account, then hover your cursor over My account in the top right corner of the screen to reveal the navigation options.

Select Billing history to view all the transactions on your account.

Your billing history displays your monthly bill, as well as the bill payments you've made. It also displays any credits or other transactions.

Click on individual billing history items for more details and further itemization, including any applicable taxes. Most states do not tax internet service specifically, but physical items such as routers or Wi-Fi extenders would include a tax on sales or rental fees.

Monthly bills can also be downloaded as a PDF from either the Billing history page or from a specific bill's details.

From Billing history, click the page icon next to the bill you would like to download.

Alternatively, within a specific bill's Your bill details screen, click the Download option in the top right.
