Step 3

Enabling or Disabling Two-Step Verification
We recommend enabling two-step verification (sometimes referred to as two-factor authentication or 2FA) on your account for an added level of security. Two-step verification lets you require a text message code or authenticator application prompt be completed to access your account.
Enable or disable two-step verification within your Account Settings under the Account security section.
Step 1
Log in to your account.
Step 2
Navigate to the My Account dropdown in the top right of the screen and select Account settings.

Step 3
Scroll to the Account Security section and select Two-step verification.

Step 4
Enter your password and click Continue.
Step 5
Select one of the following options to verify your identity: None, Authenticator app, or SMS text message.
- None - Select None and click Continue.

- Authenticator app - Choose a method for verifying your identity by downloading your preferred authenticator app supported by Ting:
- Google Authenticator (available for iOS and Android)
- Microsoft Authenticator
- Blackberry 2FA

- SMS text message - Enter the phone number that you want verification codes sent to.
