Clearnetworx is a Western Colorado-based fiber internet provider. They have recently acquired the Ting fiber network in Montezuma and La Plata County, Colorado, and San Juan County, New Mexico. Customers in these areas who previously had internet or phone service with Ting are now customers of Clearnetworx as of October 1st, 2025.

Clearnetworx FAQ

What is happening to my Ting service?

Your internet and/or phone service is moving to Clearnetworx, who acquired this portion of the Ting network.

Will my service be interrupted?

No, your service will continue without interruption. The only change is that your billing and customer communications will come from Clearnetworx.

When will I get my first bill from Clearnetworx?

Your first bill will be generated on October 1, 2025 and will be due by October 10, 2025. Please continue to pay Ting for any services before October 1.

Will my internet speed or plan change?

The goal is to keep you on a plan similar to your current one in terms of speed and price. If changes are made, Clearnetworx will communicate them directly, and the intent is to improve service (like faster speeds or lower bills).

Who do I contact with questions after October 1?

You can contact Clearnetworx at (970) 240-6600 or info@clearnetworx.com.

Account & Billing

Will I need to set up a new account with Clearnetworx?

Yes, your account will be transferred to Clearnetworx, and they will reach out with instructions to set up your customer portal and payment preferences.

Can I keep my current payment method (credit card or autopay) with Clearnetworx?

Your payment information is protected. Ting does not store your raw credit card or banking details. Instead, your information is securely stored by our payment processor in an encrypted format.

What happens if I accidentally pay Ting after October 1, 2025?

If a payment is mistakenly made to Ting, it will be reconciled and forwarded to Clearnetworx, but this could delay posting to your account. We strongly recommend updating your payment to Clearnetworx starting October 1.

🔒 Secure transfer between processors‍

We are working directly with our payment processor and Clearnetworx’s payment processor to securely transfer your payment profile. This ensures your payment method will carry over to your new account without you needing to re-enter it.

💳 No interruption to billing

‍With this secure handoff, your autopay and billing preferences will remain in place with Clearnetworx. You won’t need to take any action unless you’d like to update or change your payment method.

Service & Equipment

Do I need to change my modem or router?

No changes are required at this time. You can continue using your existing equipment unless Clearnetworx reaches out with upgrade options.

Will my email or login credentials change?

Internet service will continue unchanged. Additional communication will come from Clearnetworx around setting up your account with them.

I have email or hosted web services in additional to my internet/phone, how will these be handled?

If you use Ting email services (such as myDurango or myCortez), those services are being continued and will continue to be owned and operated by Ting. Additional instructions around the handling of these services will come to you later in the year.

Will there be installation visits as part of the transition?

No installation is required unless you are upgrading to a new package or technology. Clearnetworx may undertake some work to upgrade or install new equipment and will reach out to the customer directly if a visit is required as part of this work.

Pricing & Packages

Will there be bundle options (Internet + Phone, etc.) with Clearnetworx?

Clearnetworx offers multiple service bundles. We recommend customers reach out directly to Clearnetworx to explore these options with them.
